I was born and raised in upstate New York in a small town called Glens Falls, and in 1997, as a teenager I moved to south Charlotte with my family. I always knew from a small child I wanted a career working with dogs. After high school, I got a job as a bather in a grooming shop to see if that was the direction I wanted to go in. I loved it so much that I decided to become a professional groomer.
In 2003, I attended the International Academy of Pet Design, located in Alpharetta, Georgia, and graduated from the 1000 hour course. For the next twelve years, I worked in a grooming salon in South Charlotte and attended many grooming conventions and seminars to further my education and keep up with the latest trends in the grooming industry.
In 2015, I opened my own mobile grooming business in the South Charlotte area, and was very successful and busy.
In 2020, when the pandemic happened I decided to move back to my hometown in New York to be near family and continued to be a mobile groomer there. In late 2021, it was time to move back to North Carolina and decided on Waxhaw. I really love the area and am very excited to meet new people and their beloved furbabies!
